PMP'S MISSION, PHILOSOPY, AND UNIQUE DELIVERY OF CARE Priority Medical Partners is an outpatient-only Internal Medicine practice whose mission is to revitalize Primary Care Internal Medicine by creating a stronger doctor-patient partnership through the use of new technology, increased quality time between doctor and patient, and minimizing third-party effects on that relationship. Our hope is to improve access for patients while providing quality care at a fair and more reasonable price. To accomplish this task, PMP has adopted an entirely different philosophy and way of delivering care. Because our unique philosophy greatly affects the way we deliver our care compared to traditional methods and may not be ideal for everyone, we are providing this description of our practice. 1) 100% of your care at PMP will be provided by a physician. This optimizes your time with us and ensures your care is complete and of the highest quality. 2) 100% of your care from PMP will be outpatient only. We believe the highest efficiency and quality are achieved when hospital and clinic services are provided by separate primary care physicians. We have choosen to work with local facilities that have an inpatient- Hospitalist program. Our commitment to our patients outside of the hospital and our collaboration with Hospitalists and ER physicians will optimize the quality of our patient's care and strengthen our doctor-patient relationship. 3) PMP has chosen a third-party free method of reimbursement. We believe the elimination of third-party agreements with managed care and insurance corporations, including Medicare and Medicaid, will enable us to provide improved access to quality care for all patients regardless of insurance status, at reduced rates where the fee need not offset the overhead created by third-party payers.
